What exactly happened in a hotel room at the upscale pebble beach lodge is now the focus of a rape investigation by the Monterey County Sheriff’s Department.
Investigators are working to bring David Walter Osborne back to Monterey county from Austin Texas, where he lives. Osborne is charged with assault with intent to commit rape, sexual penetration by a foreign object, attempted forcible rape and false imprisonment by violence. Osborne posted bail for $100-thousand dollars.
The alleged rape reportedly happened May 8th, while the wealth manager was on a golf trip with friends. Osborne is due to appear in an Austin courtroom next month.
