A couple of sailors ran into rough waters in the Monterey Bay Wednesday evening.
Their 30-foot sailboat grounded into the rocks near bird rock in pebble beach. The two sailors were sailing from southern California to San Francisco when they apparently became disoriented in the dark.
The vessel was towed away yesterday evening.
