A Watsonville man, who received a heart transplant last month (after a long wait), has died. Patrick Carroll, who was just 36 years-old, had looked forward to recovering from the surgery, so he could finally play with his 13 year-old son (and 9 year-old daughter) as he had never been able to….but it wasn’t to be. Carroll, who worked for Auto Care Towing as a dispatcher, is remembered as a family man with a deep appreciation for life, who could find humor in just about any situation.
