After nearly 30 years as the commissioner of the Santa Cruz Coast Athletic League, 80 year-old Pat Lovell is retiring. The longtime Teacher, Coach, Olympic Wrestler is stepping down because of health issues. The former 3-sport standout at Sequoia High School, and 2-sport star at Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo was inducted into both schools’ Hall Of Fames.
