Special Saturday passport hours are being held this weekend in Santa Cruz. This event is for people who need to get a passport, but don’t have the time to apply Monday through Friday, during regular business hours. Standard passport processing is taking 4-6 weeks right now, while expedited processing (which costs more) is taking 2-3 weeks. People can apply for their passports from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. this Saturday at the Santa Cruz county building at 701 Ocean Street….room 310.
