Party Bus Owner Convicted in Connection with Death of Santa Cruz Woman- 4/09/15 08:30 S.G.

A San Jose man has been convicted of involuntary manslaughter in connection with the death of a Santa Cruz woman. Party bus owner Jon Reno St. James was transporting over a dozen passengers following a concert in Mountain View in July 2012. Officials say 25-year-old Natasha Noland fell out a faulty door inside the bus as it passed Lark Avenue in Los Gatos. She died from her injuries. An investigation revealed St. James was aware of the faulty door but failed to have it fixed. He faces up to four years in jail when he is sentenced May 29th.
