SANTA CRUZ POLICE ARE LOOKING FOR A MAN WHO ATTACKED A HOTEL EMPLOYEE MONDAY. OFFICIALS SAY A MAN WHO APPEARED INEBRIATED ASKED PARADOX HOTEL STAFF TO CALL HIM A CAB AT AROUND 2:30 A-M. THE MAN PUNCHED THE EMPLOYEE WHO MADE THE CALL WHEN THE CAB DIDN’T COME QUICKLY ENOUGH. HE THEN GOT INTO THE CAB, BUT THEN FLED AFTER THE DRIVER RECEIVED A POLICE ALERT AND PULLED OVER. THE SUSPECT SAID HIS NAME WAS ‘ZACK’ AND LIVED NEAR 26TH AND 27TH AVENUE. A PICTURE OF HIM HAS BEEN POSTED ON THE SANTA CRUZ POLICE BLOG.
