(18:18)CARMEL- A Central Coast Congressman has received an appointment. 20th district Congressman Jimmy Panetta announced that he has been appointed to the House Armed Services Committee. Congressman Panetta, a former Naval reserve officer, who served in Afghanistan is the newest member of the House Armed Services Committee.
