A tense standoff yesterday afternoon in Pajaro when a property owner fired shots at someone he thought was a trespasser.
The incident happened on Country View Lane and the suspect fired two warning shots and then pointed a shotgun … alerting the person to get off the property. But the victim said they had permission to be on the land and play disc golf.
When multiple law enforcement agencies showed up, the suspect held them at bay with the gun in what turned out to be a brief stand-off.
