MONTEREY COUNTY HUMANE OFFICERS HAVE RESCUED TWENTY CATS AND DOGS FROM AN UNINHABITABLE PACIFIC GROVE HOME. THE S-P-C-A FOUND 18 DOGS AND 2 CATS IN THE HOME FILLED WITH URINE, FECES, PILES OF CLOTHING, AND TRASH. THE PETS WERE FOUND LOCKED IN THREE SMALL BACK ROOMS. HUMANE OFFICERS WILL LIKELY HAND OVER THE CASE TO THE DISTRICT ATTORNEY WITH A RECOMMENDATION OF FILING MULTIPLE CHARGES AGAINST THE HOMEOWNER. THE IS THE THIRD MAJOR ANIMAL RESCUE FOR THE S-P-C-A THIS PAST MONTH.
