Pacific Grove School Board Members last night approved their COVID-19 safety plan during a board meeting last night. The next step – prior to the schools there reopening – is submission to the county, state, and federal health officials for approval.
The agencies will have 7 days to look over the plan and return it for changes or to grant permission for the schools to reopen.
Important changes included in the plan include isolation rooms for sick students and sending daily inspection information for parents. There are also plans for how to handle physical distancing during lunchtime, recess, and if a student needs to go to the restroom.
