The City of Pacific Grove is proposing a new ordinance that would ban the use of gas powered leaf blowers.
This ban is proposed due to the health and environmental implications of operating a gas powered leaf blower.
Currently, residents are prohibited from using leaf blowers within 50 feet of another property line or blowing debris into an adjacent property.
The Pacific Grove city council is expected to vote on review this ordinance revision on Wednesday.
