Anyone who may have witnessed a 1 a.m. Saturday morning fatal accident at the city of Pacific Grove’s Public Works Yard on Sunset Drive, is encouraged to contact the Pacific Grove Police Department. That after a vehicle (traveling southbound on Grove Acre Avenue) crossed onto Sunset drive, hit a curb, went through the chain link fence and into the building….causing a fire to break out in the building. The vehicle was destroyed in the blaze, and the building also suffed major damage. The cause of that crash is being investigated.
