Two people were taken into custody Wednesday after a home invasion robbery in Ben Lomand. The incident, near Hihn Road and Bahr Drive, happened around 1:30 P.M.
The Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office told it received a 911 call and its dispatcher heard what sounded like a struggle.
Arriving deputies heard sounds coming from the home and two suspected bolted away from the house.
Deputies and local police set up a perimeter and a shelter in place notification was also sent out to residents in the area.
The two suspects were taken into custody and the shelter-in-place order was lifted before 4 PM. The injured victim was not severely hurt.
