With the Fort Ord Re-Use Authority (which oversees the reclamation of the old military base) scheduled to dissolve in June of 2020, Santa Cruz County Supervisors are trying to get a bond measure through before that date. Money raised by the bond measure would be earmarked for removing the old barracks on the Former Fort Ord.
