The suspect involved in the officer-involved shooting in Salinas earlier this month has pleaded Guilty to 2 counts of shoplifting, and 2 counts of brandishing a replica firearm. Guadalupe Aguirre Espinoza has been placed on probation for three years and ordered to serve 120 days in the county jail. The terms of his probation include orders to stay away from the location where the incident occurred, and to not use (or possess) weapons, alcohol, or drugs.
