(20:32)PACIFIC GROVE- Pacific Grove beaches are being covered by a species of red crab. The crustaceans are pelagic red crabs, also known as tuna crabs. The animals are native to the continental shelf west of Mexico and normally habitat warmer waters than the Monterey Bay. Marine researchers say the crabs have been seen here before during El Nino events.
