(09:11) CALIFORNIA – Governor Jerry Brown has signed legislation that will help California prepare for the future effects of climate change. SB 350 will require electricity generation from renewable sources and double the energy efficiency of existing buildings by 2030. The bill was revised last month to remove an additional requirement to cut gasoline use by 50 percent over the next 15 years. The Climate Leadership Package is the first extensive legislative action on climate change in the nation. (S.G.)
