(14:05)SANTA CRUZ- UCSC has increased its minimum wage for employees. On October 1st the university raised the minimum wage to all employees and contract workers to 13 dollars an hour. It is part of three year program being called the UC Fair Work – Fair Wage Plan. The plan calls for a yearly increase of a dollar an hour, for employees working over 20 hours per week. The increases take effect each October 1st until reaching 15 dollars an hour in 2017.
