(07:30) MONTEREY COUNTY – A Seaside man has been convicted of drunken driving. 42-year-old Jason Carlos Silva crashed his motorcycle on Highway 1 near Moss Landing on January 17. Officers determined that Silva’s BAC level was twice the legal limit at the time of the crash. He was recently found guilty of driving under the influence on a suspended license. It was Silva’s third DUI conviction. He was sentenced to 80 days in jail and five years probation. (S.G.)
