October 29, 2015: Woman Injured in Boulder Creek Fire

(06:40) BOULDER CREEK – One woman was injured in a fire in Boulder Creek this week. The blaze was reported around 5 p.m. Tuesday at a home on the 700 block of Elsie Mae Drive. The resident reportedly heated a pot of candle wax and left it on the stove, causing the fire. Arriving fire crews were able to extinguish the blaze in less than 10 minutes. The woman sustained second-degree burns on her hand. Her home suffered minor damage. (S.G.)
