(18:21) SANTA CRUZ- The teenager accused of killing 8 year old Maddy Middleton appeared in a Santa Cruz court yesterday (Thursday). 15 year old Adrian Gonzales ahs been charged as an adult for the kidnapping, sexual assault, and murder of the girl. A preliminary hearing has been set for February 29th. During yesterday’s proceedings a vigil was held outside of the courthouse by the victim’s father.
