(09:12) MONTEREY COUNTY – A planned dog park in Carmel is being appealed by two organizations. The Monterey County Planning Commission voted in support of the Carmel Canine Sports Complex in August. Since, the Quail Lodge and Friends of the Quail have filed appeals, claiming that the project would cause traffic problems and violate zoning codes. The 47-acre park would be located in the area of Carmel Valley Road and Valley Greens Drive. The commission will take up the issue at a meeting on Tuesday. (S.G.)
