October 27, 2015: California Transportation Commission Adopts Plans for Biking, Walking Projects

(08:47) CENTRAL COAST – A state transportation agency has adopted plans for over 100 biking and walking projects. The California Transportation Commission has made the decision as part of the state’s 2015 Active Transportation Program. The bicycle and pedestrian projects funded by the ATP encourage increased use of active modes of transportation and support sustainable communities and healthier, low-carbon travel choices. The ATP projects adopted include West Broadway Urban Village infrastructure improvements in Seaside and improvements to school routes in Salinas. (S.G.)
