(09:00) Santa Cruz County – A temporary freeze has been placed on new short-term and vacation rentals. The 45 day freeze was approved at yesterday’s (Tuesday) city council meeting because finding long term rentals in Santa Cruz County has been on going issue. The temporary freeze will allow time to develop regulations for vacation rentals and prevent further loss on long term rentals.
