(16:41) SALINAS- A six mile stretch of Highway 101 in Salinas will be named to honor award winning author John Steinbeck today (Monday). A dedication ceremony, featuring assemblyman Luis Alejo, will take place at noon at the National Steinbeck Center. Alejo will formally dedicate the section of roadway from Espiosa Road to John Street as The John Steinbeck Highway.
