(15:46) CASTROVILLE- A Castroville man convicted of domestic violence and weapons violations was sentenced on Friday. 54 year old Michael Scott Pipitone was arrested in April of 2014 when officers searching for a wanted fugitive at Pipitone’s residence found a firearm and ammunition. Pipitone a convicted felon was arrested for felon in possession of a firearm and subsequently convicted, he also pled guilty to threatening, strangling and battering a former girlfriend. A Monterey county judge ordered Pipitone to spend five years and four months behind bars.
