(07:57) SALINAS – Salinas Animal Services is hosting a Halloween event this weekend. Pet owners are invited to participate in the 8th Annual Howl-O-Ween Celebration on Saturday, for a costume contest, kids activities, cake walk, adoption specials, silent auction and more. The event will be held from 12 to 3 p.m. with the costume contest beginning at 1 p.m. Dogs competing in the contest need to be on a leash, and cats and other pets should arrive in proper pet carriers.
