(08:54) SANTA CRUZ – A Santa Cruz organization has been awarded a grant to address the needs of low-income fathers and their families. Encompass Community Services will receive a million dollars annually for the next five years to expand its PAPAS Supporting Father Involvement Program. The grant has been awarded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. PAPAS is a bi-county/regional effort in partnership with Community Action Board of Santa Cruz County, Goodwill of the Central Coast, Walnut Avenue Women’s Center and Applied Survey Research. (S.G.)
