(11:07) KING CITY – King City police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred this week. Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Bassett Street around 9:30 Wednesday night, following a report of shots fired. At the scene, police found 44-year-old George Chavez suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to the hospital where he later died from his injuries. The incident is under investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact King City police. (S.G.)
