(10:55) PRUNEDALE – A Salinas man was arrested Wednesday afternoon on multiple charges, including possession of a stolen vehicle. A deputy was patrolling on the 17000 block of Castroville Boulevard when he conducted a vehicle check on a car parked near the front gate of Manzanita Park. 19-year-old Juan Machuca was found sitting in the driver’s seat. The deputy determined that the vehicle had been reported stolen out of Morgan Hill and that Machuca was out on bail. He was apprehended and booked into Monterey County Jail. (S.G.)
