(16:44) SCOTTS VALLEY- The rebuilding of the 74 year old Scotts Valley Middle School is expected to be delayed by at least a year. The delay comes after it was discovered that the campus is a possible habitat for endangered Mount Hermon June beetle. The school district will now have to secure a special permit from the U.S. Department of Fish and Wildlife. The Scotts Valley School Board will examine the matter at Tuesday night’s board meeting.
