(13:42) SALINAS- An arrest has been made in one of the two fatal shootings that took place in Salinas early Sunday morning. At about 12:45 a.m. patrol units arrived on Julia Avenue near Wheeler Drive to find 33 year old Jose Sanchez suffering from a gunshot wound to the head he was pronounced dead a few hours later at Natividad Medical Center. Just after 1 a.m. police were dispatched to the 300 block of Park Street where 25 year Andrew Hyde was dead of multiple gunshot wounds. Witness accounts say Hyde unknowingly entering a home and brandished a knife then was shot several times by the resident. Several hours later investigators arrested 43 year Juan Carlos Rodriguez for the murder of Sanchez anther suspect is still at large.
