(21:52) CAPITOLA- Capitola hosted a fireworks event last night (Sunday). The Monte Foundation organized the free fireworks event after a one year hiatus. Traffic controls were in place for several hours as thousands of spectators gathered overlooking the Capitola Wharf. The Monte Foundation was established to promote fundraisers for area schools.
