(07:26) WATSONVILLE – A man and a woman were arrested in Watsonville this week for car theft. On Tuesday night, a deputy spotted two Hondas being driven suspiciously on the 100 block of Thompson Road. Both vehicles were pulled over and the deputy determined that both cars had been stolen. A search of the vehicles recovered two shaved keys. Both drivers, 21-year-old Augusto Emanuel Mercado and 18-year-old Samantha Sanchez were arrested and booked into county jail. (S.G.)
