6 Officers will be either promoted, or sworn in for the first time, tomorrow morning in Salinas. Commander Matt Maldonado, Sergeant Mike Batchelor, and Sergeant Albert Duran are being promoted, while officers Abel Gomez, Alex Zamora, and Shivdev Dhillon are joining the Salinas Police Department, and will be Sworn-In. The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. at the Salinas Armory Hall Building AT 100 Howard Street. The public is invited to attend the event.
