A 30 year-old Oakland man was arrested in Santa Cruz county after reportedly leading law enforcement officers on a high speed chase from the city of Monterey. Xavier Hardy Gonzalves was booked into Monterey County Jail on charges related to the chase, and also the vehicle burglaries that were why Monterey police officers wanted to arrest him….after he was seen breaking into vehicles in Monterey.
