Some organizers with the California Nurses Association say they feel that the reaction to the December 16th nurses’ protest was positive enough that they plan to do another tomorrow, instead of waiting until next month as originally planned. From 3:30 to 4:30 tomorrow afternoon, a caravan of nurses and community members plan to drive their individual vehicles around the perimeter of Watsonville Community Hospital. They want 2 things…. 1. Confirmation or verification that the ratios will not be waived…..and 2. They want a concrete staffing improvement plan.
