Tonight at 7 p-m, there will be a ceremony to retire a Gonzales man’s jersey (and uniform number). That’s in honor of 21 year-old Christian Rosales, who was killed just after new year’s eve in Salinas. The ceremony is scheduled to take place at Gonzales High School. The San Francisco Giants (Rosales’ favorite professional team) also marked his death, by calling him a “giant hero” and sending a letter of condolence to Rosales’ family (along with a giant’s jersey featuring Rosales’ name and high school number).
