(08:00) Santa Cruz County – A 26 year-old man turned himself IN FOR the fatal hit-and-run crash that took place on October 30TH in Santa Cruz. Jesus Covarrubias reportedly went to the Santa Cruz County jail on Monday and said he was responsible for the deadly crash, but when officers started interviewing him, he refused to give a statement. Covarrubias, who lives in southern California, was arrested and released on monday in lieu of a 10-thousand dollar bond. His victim, 20 year old Alexandria Arceneaux succumbed to her injuries over the weekend.
