(11:40) SANTA CRUZ- This year’s Titans of Mavericks surf contest will feature two Santa Cruz women. Six female surfers will be competing in the first ever women’s heat in the big wave contest. Local women, Sarah Gerhardt and Jamilah Star will be representing Santa Cruz. Three of the remaining competitors are from Hawaii the fourth is from Brazil.
