( 19:38) MONTEREY- Monterey Skatepark is closing today (Friday) to undergo an expansion. The city’s Neighborhood Improvement Program is providing 176,000 dollars for the 45 day renovation of the 16 year old park at Lake Estero. The upgraded facility will feature several new skating obstacles, and will bee 4000 square feet bigger.
