(08:43) SANTA CRUZ COUNTY – Soroptimist International of Capitola-by-the-Sea is seeking applicants for its “Live Your Dream” Award. The annual award, formerly known as the Women’s Opportunity Award, is given to women who are heads of households and enrolled in educational programs. Winners are given up to $2,000 to use on childcare, rent, repairs, or other needs. All applicants must be Santa Cruz County residents and enrolled in or have been accepted into a vocational training program or an undergraduate degree program. The nomination deadline is Tuesday.
