(06:00) USA – A Salinas company has been linked to an E. coli outbreak at Costco. Over a dozen people in seven states have fallen ill after consuming the company’s chicken salad. FDA officials say the salad contains onions and celery tainted with the bacteria. Salinas-based Taylor Farms has been identified as the supplier of the vegetables. The FDA is continuing to test the vegetable mix for E. coli. In the meantime, anyone who purchased the product on or before Friday, November 20, is being urged to throw it away. (S.G.)
