(08:00) Salinas – A man who was honored by the Salinas City Council for rescuing a boy during an Amber Alert last August is battling cancer. Victor Worden was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in May of 2015. Worden’s daughters set up a GoFundMe page yesterday (Wednesday) to help pay for medical expenses. The family has already raised $3,530 dollars in one day. Their goal is to reach 5- thousand dollars.
