(07:00) Watsonville – A man was struck and killed while he was crossing the street on Highway 152 near Bridge Street. The incident took place on Saturday around 7:40 p.m. The 81 year-old man was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead Sunday morning. The driver of the car, 31 year-old Yajaira Villaruel, is not believed to have been under the influence of drugs or alcohol. The accident is still under investigation.
