(06:46) MONTEREY – Monterey officials have selected a construction firm to help revitalize the city’s conference center. Stronghold Engineering, Inc. will be the general contractor for the Monterey Conference Center revitalization project. The Riverside-based company was recently ranked as one of the Top 500 Contractors in the U.S. and as one of the Top 50 Contractors in California. Stronghold plans to add more than $60 million in physical and technological improvements to the conference center. Construction is expected to begin in December. (S.G.)
