(08:48) WATSONVILLE – A Watsonville man was arrested over the weekend on suspicion of false imprisonment and witness intimidation. Police were dispatched to an apartment complex on the 300 block of Pennsylvania Drive on Sunday afternoon following a report of a domestic disturbance. At the scene, officers learned that a man was holding a woman against her will inside the building. The suspect, 24-year-old Jose Carlos Garcia-Flores, was taken into custody following an eight-hour standoff with law enforcement. Garcia-Flores was taken to the hospital for a mental evaluation before being booked into Santa Cruz County Jail. (S.G.)
