(06:28) MONTEREY COUNTY – All schools in the King City Union School District will be closed Thursday due to safety concerns. The King City Police Department received multiple bomb threats this week, prompting the cancellation of classes.The district is working with the police department to investigate the threats. The schools that will be closed include Chalone Peaks Middle School, Del Rey Elementary, Santa Lucia Elementary, King City Arts Magnet School and Phoenix Academy. All of the schools were closed last Wednesday due to similar threats. Classes are expected to resume on Friday. (S.G.)
