(07:38) SANTA CRUZ – One resident was displaced following a fire in Santa Cruz Tuesday afternoon. The blaze was reported at a duplex on the 500 block of Bay Street around 4 p.m. Bay Street was closed from Centennial to Columbia while fire crews responded. The blaze was contained and extinguished in 10 minutes. The roadway was reopened by 6:30 p.m. The cause of the blaze is under investigation. (S.G.)
